About
I’m an analytics product designer with 12+ years of cross-sector experience in healthcare, government, insurance, finance, and grassroots organizations. I’ve worked with organizations including the University Health Network (UHN), SickKids Hospital, Ontario Health, Casey House, and Sun Life Financial.
My passion for this field grew during my first job out of undergrad in 2010, where I quickly learned that a focus on iterative design and honest, transparent relationships with end users were crucial to their engagement with data, and a shared commitment to making tools as meaningful as possible. Over the years, I’ve designed multi-page dashboards for executives, reports and briefs for clinicians across Ontario, public-facing content for social media, and lots in between.
With a background in industrial engineering (University of Toronto, 2010) and a masters of information in UX design (University of Toronto, 2020), I bring both structure and sensitivity to my work. While I no longer focus on dashboard development, my past experience as a Tableau developer helps me design with real-world tools and constraints in mind.
I’m constantly learning in this space. Some areas I’m especially interested in include:
Data visualization accessibility
Enabling data literacy through design and AI
Modern UI design for dashboards
Methods for deeper user research in an analytics context
Product management and strategy
Also: I get a weird amount of design inspiration from video games.

As an Autistic person, I operate a bit differently than what’s typically expected in conventional work environments. I prioritize certain conditions that help me deliver high-quality work in sustainable ways. If you’re looking for a contractor to work 80 hour weeks, available on-call, burning the midnight oil…that’s not me!
